The morning after they arrived at the Maranatha Mission, the students traveled to Batey 106 and began to interview community members of what they needed next. After that, they took a quick trip to Jumbo, a grocery store down in the Dominican, and got some snacks and toys for the kids in the batey. Later that day, Rockford High School’s Interact Club arrived. The next morning, both clubs took a bus to Batey 106 and began their project of creating a concrete wall around the school building.
